HP-CMAT is a common entrance test for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme for all the universities/Institutions affiliated to universities in Himachal Pradesh. In accordance with the UGC guidelines there shall be only one entrance test for all such Institutions. The Government of Himachal Pradesh, Department of Technical Education has designated (MBA Deptt.) Institute of Management Studies, HP University Summerhill, Shimla-5, as the Nodal agency for conducting Entrance Test for MBA admission to all the Universities/ Institutions affiliated to universities in HP.
Department of Technical Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh, has designated the Institute of Management Studies at Himachal Pradesh University in Shimla for conducting Combined Management Aptitude Test known as Himachal CMAT. Himachal Management Aptitude Test or CMAT Exam is organized for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs offered at various institutes/colleges and universities in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
